Management interfaces

To manage virtual machines that use HPE OmniStack datastores on HPE OmniStack hosts, use the HPE SimpliVity Plug-in for vSphere Web Client, the HPE OmniStack REST API, or the HPE OmniStack CLI commands.

Management interface	Description
HPE SimpliVity Plug-in for vSphere Web Client	Enables you to manage federations from within vSphere Web Client.
HPE OmniStack REST API	Enables you to manage HPE OmniStack assets programmatically. To access the interactive REST API documentation, obtain the IP address of a Virtual Controller in the federation that you want to manage. Then, in a web browser, navigate to `https://[Virtual Controller IP address]/api/index.html`.
HPE OmniStack CLI	Enables you to manage HPE OmniStack assets from a command line interface on the Virtual Controller. You can use the CLI to automate management tasks with scripts.
