Configuring the RCFC links

Prerequisites

Prepared the Remote Copy over FC (RCFC) hardware connections.
Obtained the N:S:P for the RCFC ports from your network administrator.
Set up one-to-one fabric zoning between the storage systems.

Procedure

On the HPE SSMC main menu, select Ports under STORAGE SYSTEMS.
Select the Protocol filter and choose RCFC.
Determine the Port State for the RCFC ports for your storage systems.
1. If the port state is Free, select Actions > Initialize.
2. If the port state is Offline, select Actions > Enable.
3. If the port shows Ready, go to the next step.
Verify that the RCFC ports have been zoned correctly.
1. Review Connected Devices for each RCFC port in your storage systems.
2. If the Port WWN list is not configured as expected, rezone the fabric.
  An example of correct zoning: Zone 1 contains ports 0:3:3 from System1 and System2. Zone 2 contains ports 1:3:3 from System1 and System2. No other ports are configured for those zones.
