Configuring the data replication solution using Remote Copy

During configuration, Remote Copy creates a target on each system. For example, System1 contains a target for System2 and System2 contains a target for System1. These targets logically connect the RCIP or RCFC ports between the two storage systems making them a pair.

Prerequisites

  • Obtained access to an instance of HPE SSMC where the storage systems were added.

  • Determined Remote Copy configuration options. See HPE Primera OS: Getting started with data replication using Remote Copy at https://www.hpe.com/info/Primera600-docs.
