Preparing the hardware connections

Procedure

Prepare the hardware connections based on your transport method.
1. For a 1-to-1 configuration, select Remote Copy over IP (RCIP) or Remote Copy over FC (RCFC).
2. For a three system configuration, select RCIP, RCFC, or both. Use the same transport method between two systems.
Identify the RCIP or RCFC ports on the controller node.
Connect the appropriate ports between storage systems:
- Physically connect the RCIP ports between storage systems.
- Physically connect the RCFC ports between storage systems.
