Deploying vRealize Orchestrator

NPS toolkit deploys one master and one replica for HA on Management Pod using the install-vro command.

Procedure
  1. To deploy the vRealize Orchestrator, run the following command:
    NOTE:
    nps deploy -s optools -a install-vro
  2. To check the status of the deployment, run the following command:
nps show -–data vim -–node orchestrator

In case of success, the state of the deployment is INSTALLED. In case of failure, the state is INSTALL_FAILED. Analyze the nps-vmware-cli-<topology_name>-ansible.log and vmware-cli-<topology_name>-<date>.log log files from /var/nps/logs/<topology_name> directory on NPS toolkit. Correct the errors and redeploy vRealize Orchestrator using the same procedure.

After installing vRealize Orchestrator, to complete post-installation task, see Configure a Standalone Orchestrator Server with vSphere Authentication section in vRealize Orchestrator Product Documentation.

To form the cluster and to add replica node to cluster, see Configure a Cluster of vRealize Orchestrator Instances in VAMI section in vRealize Orchestrator Product Documentation.
