Deploying VMware Operations Management

The VMware Operations Management consists of four tools for this release. They are

  1. vRealize Operations manager

  2. vRealize Log Insight

  3. vRealize Orchestrator

  4. vRealize Network insight

The vRealize Operations manager, Log Insight and Orchestrator are deployed using NPS toolkit and are configured manually.

The vRealize Network insight is deployed and configured manually.

Prerequisites

  • Ensure Operations manager, Orchestrator, and Log Insight ova image are present in /var/nps/vim/vmware directory on the NPS toolkit VM.

  • ensure vCenter management HA is configured with the status HA_CONFIGURED
