HPE StoreEasy management console overview

The HPE StoreEasy management console manages the HPE StoreEasy Storage system.

Use the management console to do the following:
  • View a high-level, graphical summary of the health, utilization, and performance of the system using the Dashboard page. This visual representation includes system capacity, CPU, memory, and storage utilization.

  • Set up and manage your storage resources:
    • Create an array by grouping a set of physical drives with a defined RAID level.

    • Create logical drives using an existing array based on the available capacity of the array.

    • Create multiple logical volumes using an existing logical drive.

    • Set up shared folders on an HPE StoreEasy system as file shares which users can access over a network using either SMB or NFS protocols.

    • Manage directory quotas and directory quota templates.

  • View all storage components and storage subsystems.

  • Manage networking, users, and snapshot schedules through the Settings page.

  • Perform system administrative tasks such as updating the HPE StoreEasy management console, updating the Internet proxy settings, managing credentials, or shutting down or rebooting the system. These tasks are managed through the Settings page.

    Monitor events and activities:

    • Report critical active alerts, informational messages, warnings, and error categories through the Events page. The Events page is an event log of the most recent application, security, and system events. Up to 300 of the latest events display.

    • The Activity page lists all the asynchronous tasks and the status of those tasks, the actions that occurred in the user interface, and the time consumed by the task.
