Deploying vRealize Operations Manager

NPS toolkit deploys one master, replica for HA and one data node on Management Pod. It initializes and configures the cluster and enables High Availability for using the install-vrops command.

Procedure
  1. To deploy the vRealize Operations Manager, run the following command:
    NOTE:
    nps deploy -s optools -a install-vrops
  2. To check the status of the deployment, run the following command:
nps show –-data vim –-node operation_manager

In case of success, the state of the deployment is INSTALLED. In case of failure, the state is INSTALL_FAILED. Analyze the nps-vmware-cli-<topology_name>-ansible.log and vmware-cli-<topology_name>-<date>.log log files from /var/nps/logs/<topology_name> directory on NPS toolkit. Correct the errors and redeploy the vRealize operations manager using the same procedure.

After installing vRealize Operations Manager, to complete post-installation tasks, see vRealize Operations Manager Post-Installation Considerations in vRealize Operations Manager Product Documentation.

For Operation Manager configuration, see vRealize Operations Manager Configuration Guide.
