A license is required for the controller. In addition, SDN applications can require licenses that are separate from the license for the controller. For information on installing, activating, uninstalling or transferring licenses, see License Registration and Activation.
The Licenses screen displays the controller Install ID, and is used to activate new licenses, and deactivate installed licenses (for transfer to another installation).
