DHCP Snooping Rate Limiter

When DHCP snooping is enabled, only 100 dhcp packets (default) is handled by the switch. As the default value is not configurable, the switch drops additional DHCP packets for incoming rates, higher than 100 pps. Due to this limitation, some DCHP clients may not receive an IP address after multiple retries.

A configurable rate limit helps in reducing the number of DHCP packets being dropped for higher incoming rates. Use the CLI command to manually adjust the rate limit within the range of 100 pps to 500 pps. This feature is supported for both v4 and v6.
