Edit a Plan Script that is referenced by an OS Build Plan

NOTE:

If there are any changes to a custom attribute, a warning message displays and the referenced OS Build Plan and Deployment Plan are also updated. If the changes to the custom attribute do not get propagated to the OS Build Plan and Deployment Plan, those artifacts display a critical status.

Prerequisites

  • Minimum required privileges: Infrastructure administrator, Software administrator

  • The OS Build Plan that is referencing the Plan Script must not be read-only.

Procedure
  1. From the main menu, select Plan Scripts.
  2. From the master pane of the Plan Scripts screen, select a Plan Script.
  3. Select Edit from the Actions menu.
  4. Edit either Name or description, or both.
  5. To apply the edited changes, click OK.
    NOTE:

    You will receive a warning message listing the associated OS Build Plans when you try to edit a selected Plan Script.
