About OS volumes

OS volume is the boot volume for a server and is associated with a server profile. It is a result of a deployment operation.

This volume is used by the server to boot, and runs until the end of life of a server profile. Some server profile operations like assign, unassign, and re-assign might require redeployment and creation of a new OS volume for a hardware from a server profile. In case of redeployment, you are requested to either proceed or cancel the operations.
