Edit Plan Script referenced by OS Build Plan

NOTE:

If there are any changes to a custom attribute, you will see a warning message and the referenced OS Build Plan and Deployment Plan are updated with the modification. In case the changes to the custom attribute do not get propagated to the OS Build Plan and Deployment Plan, the same OS Build Plan and Deployment Plan display a critical status.

Prerequisites

  • You must be logged in as a Software administrator to modify a Plan Script.

  • The OS Build Plan that is referencing the Plan Script must not be read-only.

Procedure

  1. From the main menu, select Plan Scripts.
  2. From the master pane of the Plan Scripts screen, select a Plan Script.
  3. Select Edit from the Actions menu.
  4. Edit either Name or description, or both.
  5. Click OK to apply the edited changes.
    NOTE:

    You will receive a warning message listing the associated OS Build Plans when you try to edit a selected Plan Script.
