Extract an existing backup bundle

Prerequisites

  • Minimum required session ID privileges: Software administrator.

Procedure

  1. Select the backup bundle URI.

    GET /rest/artifact-bundles/backups

  2. Extract the backup bundle using the URI from Step 1.

    PUT /rest/artifact-bundles/backups/{id}

    Specify the {id}.

This procedure extracts the existing backup bundle on the appliance and creates the artifacts. If the artifacts in the backup bundle are already existing on the Image Streamer appliance, they are removed before the backup bundle is extracted.
