Destroying a Clone

The destroy option deletes the Clone and all the related VMs and datastores. This option is not available for a VVol VM.

Prerequisites

  • Unregister all the registered VMs.

  • Detach all the attached VMDKs.

Procedure
  1. On the left pane of the vSphere Web Client, click HPE RMC-V.
  2. On the left pane of the RMC-V plug-in, click Protection > Manage Clones.
  3. Select the type of Clone and then select a Clone that you want to destroy.
  4. Click Actions > Destroy.
  5. At the prompt, select the Unregister all registered VMs and detach all attached VMDKs check box.
  6. Click DESTROY.
