Adding an email notification
Procedure
- On the left pane of the vSphere Web Client, click HPE RMC-V.
- On the left pane of the RMC-V plug-in, click Settings.
- Click the Email Notification tab.
- Click Create new notification.

Specify the following details:
- Name
A name for the notification policy.
- SMTP Server and Port
Name or IP address of the SMTP server. Select the port number used for SMTP traffic.
- Sender Email Address
Email address for the sender.
- Password
Password corresponding to the email address of the sender. Select Show password to view the password.
- SSL
Select to use SSL. Emails are SSL/TLS encrypted.
- TEST EMAIL CONFIGURATION
Click to test the email configuration specified.
- Enable Notifications
Select to receive the notifications over email.
- Receiver Email Address
Semicolon-separated list of recipient email addresses.

Select your alert preferences.
Select Select All to receive all notifications - error and generic information of all the operations performed.
You can also choose to receive error or generic notifications for only selected operations.
- Click Submit.
