You can issue a Loop Initialization Primitive command from a port that is on a Fibre Channel loop.
Caution: Issuing a LIP command from a port resets the topology for the entire Fibre Channel loop on which the port is located and will impacts other ports on the loop.
Procedure

On the main menu, select
Storage Systems > Ports.

Select a port that is on the Fibre Channel loop that you want to initialize, and then select
Issue LIP on the
Actions menu.
Tip: By default, the action is disabled and does not appear on the Ports Actions menu. The action can be enabled and added to the Actions menu using the
Advanced port option on the Preferences panel in the Global Settings dialog.
