Stop logins on first failure

You can enable and disable the Stop logins on first failure option in the Application panel on the Edit Global Settings dialog of the Settings screen.

Assume that multiple HPE 3PAR and HPE Primera storage systems are connected to HPE SSMC and these systems are using LDAP authentication. In this case, a single failed SSMC login attempt can result in one failed LDAP authentication attempt for each connected HPE 3PAR and HPE Primera system. This can result in you being locked out of the LDAP account. To prevent this, enable the Stop logins on first failure option in the settings screen. The HPE SSMC login process will then halt after the first failed HPE Storage System authentication attempt.

Important: After you enable this option, restart HPE SSMC for the changes to take effect.
