Analytics (Volume View)

The performance analytics feature monitors and analyzes performance of a Virtual Volume. The Analytics view in VVols screen displays charts for:

  • Read Throughput

  • Write Throughput

  • Read Latency

  • Write Latency

If the factors contributing to the latency spike are known, markers appear on peaks in the latency graph. On hover, the marker displays the top System and Workload factors.

Data points are marked as Unusual Latency Detected when the latency exceeds the prediction based on other volumes which share the configuration in a community.
