Adding FC (host path)

You can hover over fields to display tooltips.

To navigate to Hosts screen and add an FC, do the following:

Procedure
  1. On the main menu, select Block Persona > Hosts > Create host.
  2. To add an FC path from the Paths panel in the Create host dialog, click Add FC option.

    The Add FC dialog opens.

  3. Enter or select your choices for required and optional settings.
    Existing WWN:

    The option is selected by default, and a list of existing Fibre Channel WWNs is displayed. You can filter the list by entering text in the Search box. When filtered, the list shows only the items that contain the search text in the list columns.

    New WWN:

    If there are no existing WWNs, or if you want to enter a new WWN, select the New WWN option and enter the WWN.

  4. When you have completed your choices, click Add to accept your choices and close the dialog, or click Add + to accept your choices and keep the dialog open.
