Exporting App Volume Sets
You can hover over fields to display tooltips.
To navigate to App Volume Sets screen and export an app volume set, do the following:
- On the main menu, select Block Persona > App Volume Sets.

In the list pane, select an app volume set, and then click
Export on the
Actions menu.
The Export App Volume Set dialog opens.

Enter or select your choices for required and optional settings.
General
- System:
Name of the storage system which has the app volume set that you want to export.
- Domain:
The domain in which the app volume set is created.
App Volume Set
Displays the app volume sets that you can export in a tabular format with the following information:- App Volume Set Name:
Name of the app volume set.
- Volume Count:
Number of volumes in the app volume set.
- Application:
Application for which the app volume set is created. Type of the application instance consuming storage from the virtual volumes on an HPE 3PAR storage system.
- Business unit:
Name of business unit where the app volume set is available.
Export To
Displays information about the hosts to which you are exporting the app volume sets.- Host Name:
Name of the host to which you are exporting the app volume set.
- Host Set:
Name of the host set to which you are exporting the app volume set.
- Host OS:
Name of the host operating system.
NOTE:You can select the Host or Host set to which you want to export the virtual volumes of the App Volume Set. Click the Add option available in the Export to panel to select the host or host set. For more details, see Adding Hosts or Host Set (to Export App Volume Set).
Export With
Displays information required to export with the app volume set.- LUN:
LUN (logical unit number) value can be any numeric value. If an app volume set has multiple virtual volumes to be export, then the number may be a range or list of values separated by commas.
To enable the system to automatically select the LUNs, select the Auto check box.

When you have completed your choices, click
Export to start the action and close the dialog, or click
Cancel if you are not sure about the export.
