LED indicators in the HPE StoreEasy Storage system

HPE StoreEasy 1460 LED indications

When all four LEDs (UID button/LED, NIC status LED, Health LED, and Power On/Standby button and system power LED) flash simultaneously, a power fault has occurred in the HPE StoreEasy 1460 Storage system.

HPE StoreEasy 1560 LED indications

When all three LEDs (Power On/Standby button and system power LED, Health LED, and NIC status LED) and the UID button/LED on the rear panel flash simultaneously, a power fault has occurred in the HPE StoreEasy 1560 Storage system.

HPE StoreEasy 1660 and 1860 LED indications

When all four LEDs (UID button/LED, NIC status LED, Health LED, and Power On/Standby button and system power LED) flash simultaneously, a power fault has occurred in the HPE StoreEasy 1660 and 1860 Storage systems.

Front panel LEDs

UID button/LED is off. Deactivated
NIC status LED is solid green. Link to network
NIC status LED is flashing green. Network active
NIC status LED is off. No network activity
Health LED is solid green. Normal
Health LED is flashing green. iLO is rebooting
Health LED is flashing amber. System degraded. Review the system IML or use iLO to review the system health status.
Health LED is flashing red. System critical. Review the system IML or use iLO to review the system health status.
Power On/Standby button and system power LED is solid green. System on
Power On/Standby button and system power LED is flashing green. Performing power-on sequence
Power On/Standby button and system power LED is solid amber. System in standby
Power On/Standby button and system power LED is off. No power. Check the following:
  • Facility power is present.

  • Power cord is attached.

  • Power supplies are installed.

  • Power supply failure has occurred.

  • The front I/O cable is connected for HPE StoreEasy 1560 Storage system.

  • Power button cable is disconnected.
