Fan locations
CAUTION:
To avoid damage to HPE StoreEasy 1460 Storage system:
Install fan blanks in fan bays 1 and 2 in a single-processor configuration.
Do not operate the system for extended periods of time if the optimal number of fans are not installed. The system might still boot with the existing fans.
Valid fan configurations follow:

The loss of a single fan rotor (one standard fan) causes loss of redundancy. The loss of two fan rotors (two standard fans or one high performance fan) causes the HPE StoreEasy 1460 Storage system to initiate a shutdown.
The HPE StoreEasy 1460 Storage system supports variable fan speeds. The fans operate at minimum speed until a temperature change requires a fan speed increase to cool the system.
