Setting email notifications

To enable email notifications, configure email and SMTP settings. You can choose to enable or disable notification emails.

  1. Navigate to Settings > Support information.

  2. Select Notification email settings.

  3. If an SMTP server has not been configured, set the following information:
    1. To define a new SMTP mail server, click Add an SMTP server now.

    2. Enter the following details:
      SMTP server name or IP address Enter the unique server name or IP address.
      Default "from" address Enter the email ID from where you want to send the email notifications.
      Recipient Enter the recipient email ID.
  4. To send a test email from the HPE StoreEasy Storage system, click Test email.

  5. Click Save settings.
