The following table provides information on the NIC specifications that have been validated as part of a blueprint, reason to consider them, and customization options.

Blueprint Design Consideration

Cost-effective, dependable server networking products that keep IT running reliably and at peak performance ​:

  • FLR : Serviced by CPU1

  • PCIe : Serviced by CPU1 and CPU2

  • In a single node, either N-VDS(E) or SR-IOV is supported per cluster.Therefore, PCIe slot1 and PCIe slot4 can be either configured for N-VDS(E) or SR-IOV

Customization Option

Support for acceleration technologies - SRIOV and N-VDS(E) as required by the workloads

Only one acceleration technology (either SR-IOV or N-VDS(E)) can be used per cluster.
