Creating a logical interconnect group

Create a logical interconnect group based on the interconnects expected to be in a logical enclosure.

Procedure
  1. From the main menu, select Logical Interconnect Groups, and then do one of the following:
    1. Click + Create logical interconnect group
    2. Select Actions > Create
  2. Enter a name for the logical interconnect group.
  3. Select the Interconnect type.
  4. Enter the data requested on the screen, and then click Select interconnects.
  5. Select from the list of available interconnects for an enclosure.
  6. Select from the list of available interconnects for each bay.
  7. Click the Edit icon of the internal network area in the graphical view
  8. Click Add networks to select from available networks.
  9. Click OK when you are finished adding the internal networks.
  10. Click Add uplink set.
  11. Enter the data requested on the screen for each uplink set to be created.
  12. Click Create to finish, or click Create + to create additional uplink sets.
  13. Optional: Scroll down and, if necessary, make changes to the interconnect settings.
  14. Click Create to finish, or click Create + to create additional logical interconnect groups.
  15. To verify that the logical interconnect group was created, locate the group in the details pane.
  16. Optional: Select the logical interconnect group to edit, and then select Actions > Edit to make changes to the utilization sampling settings, if necessary
  17. Click OK to apply any changes.
  18. To verify the changes, locate them in the General view.
