Technical skills and knowledge

The personnel responsible for the HPE Telco Blueprint setup must be trained in HPE Telco Blueprint components and the installation procedures. Depending on the blueprint components that you have selected for deployment, you must also be familiar with the hardware and software components selected:
  • VIM: Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (RHOCP) and Red Hat Enterprise Linux CoreOS (RHCOS)

Understand the RHOCP installation procedure. This blueprint uses the User-Provisioned Infrastructure (UPI) as the installation method to deploy the Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform. Use this installation program to generate the assets required to provision the cluster infrastructure, create the cluster infrastructure, and deploy the cluster to the provided infrastructure. All cluster creation is automated using the NPS Toolkit. For more information about deploying Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform as described using the UPI installation method, see Red Hat Product Documentation for OpenShift Container Platform.
