Servers and Switches Configuration

IMPORTANT:

After the input JSON file is successfully uploaded, you can configure the servers and switches that are part of the blueprint.

Depending on the selection you made while generating the input JSON file, you have the following options to configure servers and switches in your environment:

  • If you have selected Cumulus as the switch network operating system, follow the procedures in Configuring servers and switches.

  • If you have selected Aruba as the switch network operating system, follow the procedures in Configuring servers and switches.

  • If you have selected Aruba as the switch network operating system and ODIM RA as the option to configure servers and switches, follow the procedures in Configuring servers and switches using ODIM.

    NOTE:

    If the ODIM RA is present in the environment, the NPS toolkit uses the same to configure the servers and switches that are part of the Blueprint NFVI. You can use the HPE iLO plugin to configure the servers and the CFM plugin to configure the switches.
