Choosing the mode of RHOCP installation

IMPORTANT:

The HPE Telco Blueprint supports two modes of RHOCP installation; online and offline. You must define the mode of RHOCP cluster installation in TICG.

In case of online mode, all the nodes in the cluster requires access to the internet to install packages that are required to install the cluster. Proceed with the NPS toolkit VM deployment.

If the cluster does not have direct internet access, choose the offline mode of installation. For this process, user need to create a private local registry to download the content and use it to populate a mirror registry with the packages that will be used to install a cluster and generate the installation program.

If the mode of installation is offline, you must perform the following procedures before deploying the NPS toolkit VM:
  1. Configuring a local private registry server

  2. Mirroring operator images
