Parameters
flood-count flooding-count: Specifies the maximum number of LSPs that can be rapidly flooded before SPF computation is started. The value range for the flooding-count argument is 1 to 15. The default value is 5.
max-timer-interval flooding-interval: Specifies the delay before fast flooding is performed. The value range for the flooding-interval argument is 10 to 50000 milliseconds. The default value is 10.
Usage guidelines
Fast flooding of LSPs enables ISIS-SPB to flood the first several LSPs that invoke SPF before SPF computation is started. This mechanism improves ISIS-SPB convergence time.
The number of fast flooded LSPs is specified by the flooding-count argument.
Examples
# Enable fast flooding of LSPs, specify the maximum number of fast flooded LSPs to 10, and set the flooding delay to 100 milliseconds.
