lldp voice-vlan

Syntax

lldp voice-vlan vlan-id

undo lldp voice-vlan

View

Layer 2 Ethernet interface view, port group view

Default level

2: System level

Parameters

vlan-id: Specifies a voice VLAN by its ID in the range of 1 to 4094.

Description

Use lldp voice-vlan to configure a port to advertise a specific voice VLAN ID to the connected IP phone through LLDP. If CDP compatibility is enabled, the port sends the specified voice VLAN ID in CDP packets to its connected IP phone.

Use undo lldp voice-vlan to restore the default.

By default, if a voice VLAN is configured on an LLDP-enabled port, LLDP advertises this voice VLAN to the IP phone connected to the port.
