Description
CAUTION: After you shut down an Ethernet interface with this command, it cannot forward packets, even if it is physically connected. | ||
Use shutdown to shut down an Ethernet interface.
Use undo shutdown to bring up an Ethernet interface.
By default, an Ethernet interface is in up state.
Examples
# Shut down and then bring up Ethernet 1/0/1.
<Sysname> system-view [Sysname] interface ethernet 1/0/1 [Sysname-Ethernet1/0/1] shutdown [Sysname-Ethernet1/0/1] undo shutdown
# Shut down all member ports in the port group named group1.
<Sysname> system-view [Sysname] port-group manual group1 [Sysname-port-group-manual-group1] shutdown
