put
Use put to upload a local file to the SFTP server.

put local-file [ remote-file ]

Parameters
local-file: Specifies the name of a local file.
remote-file: Specifies the name of a file on an SFTP server. If you do not specify this argument, the file will be remotely saved with the same name as the local file.
Examples
# Upload the local file startup.bak to the SFTP server and save it as startup01.bak.
sftp> put startup.bak startup01.bak Uploading startup.bak to /startup01.bak startup01.bak 100% 1424 1.4KB/s 00:00
