Configuring a local MAC binding server

In local MAC-trigger authentication, the access device acts as a local MAC binding server to perform local portal authentication on portal users. You can configure multiple local MAC binding servers, which are independent with each other.

To configure a local MAC binding server:

3. Enable local MAC-trigger authentication.

5. (Optional.) Set the aging time for local MAC-account binding entries.

By default, the aging time for local MAC-account binding entries is 12 hours..

6. (Optional.) Set the aging time for MAC-trigger entries.

By default, the aging time for MAC-trigger entries is 300 seconds.

7. (Optional.) Enable AAA failure unbinding.

aaa-fail nobinding enable

By default, AAA failure unbinding is disabled.
