Hardware requirements

Before you install SQL/MX Release 3.5, your Integrity NonStop server must meet these prerequisites. You must install the software from an L-series RVU SPR on a NonStop server running Open System Services (OSS).

Minimum Requirement

Disk

Minimum three disks:

  • $SYSTEM disk

  • SQL objects disk

  • TMF audit disk

  • Recommended: Minimum 6 disks to include mirrors for the 3 disks

Disk space

  • 2 GB of OSS file space

  • 3 GB of $SYSTEM disk
  • 200 MB for the compressed and uncompressed NonStop Server for Java .tar files

A minimum of 4 GB for each processor
