Upgrading the system

This section describes system upgrade from SQL/MX R3.3 onwards.

SQL/MX release 3.5 is supported only on L-series.

NOTE:

If you face any problem when using a new feature, discontinue the use of the feature instead of falling back to a previous version.
After upgrading from an earlier version to 3.5, you must enable or disable the EXTERNAL_NAME_CASESENSITIVE CQD using the InstallSqlmx script with -e option before running the InstallDBS script.
