Authority levels
In command descriptions, the authority level indicates the user role that is required to execute a command:
- Administrators
Users with the role:
administrators
Users with administrator rights can execute any command.
- Operators
Users with the role:
operators
.Users with operator rights can execute commands in the operator context (

) only.- Auditors
Users with the role:
auditors
.Users with auditor rights can execute commands in the auditor context (
auditor>
) only.- Local user group members with execution rights for a command
You can create up to 29 user-defined local user groups on the switch. Each group can be defined to allow execution of up to 1024 specific CLI commands.
