Syntax
arp ipv4 <IPV4_ADDR> mac <MAC_ADDR>
no arp ipv4 <IPV4_ADDR> mac <MAC_ADDR>
Description
Specifies a permanent static neighbor entry in the ARP table (for IPv4 neighbors).
The
no
form of this command deletes a permanent static neighbor entry from the ARP table.

Specifies the IP address of the neighbor in IPv4 format (

is a decimal number from 0 to 255. You can remove leading zeros. For example, the address192.169.005.100
becomes192.168.5.100
. Range: 4096 through 131072. Default: 131072.mac <MAC_ADDR>>
Specifies the MAC address of the neighbor (

), wherex
is a hexadecimal number from 0 to F. Range: 4096 through 131072. Default: 131072.
