SSL connection error, or CACERTS request failed


The server is reachable but the TLS connection fails.

  1. Check that the EST server CA certificate is installed in switch.
  2. Check that the time in switch is within the valid time of EST server CA certificate.
  3. Check that the IDEVID certificate is present in the switch.
  4. Check that the EST server is authenticating the connection due to switch certificate validation.
