Error messages

A primary VLAN cannot be made as a secondary VLAN and vice-versa.

Cannot change the private VLAN type. Change the VLAN to a non-private VLAN and then configure the private VLAN type.

The primary VLAN cannot be deleted if it is associated with secondary VLANs.

The primary VLAN cannot be deleted because it has secondary VLANs associated. Delete the association before deleting the primary VLAN.

If the number of primary VLANs configured has reached the limit on the system (16).

Cannot configure the primary VLAN because the number of primary VLANs exceeds the maximum limit of 16.

If the number of community VLANs configured for under a primary VLAN has reached the limit on the system (8).

Cannot create more than 8 community VLANs under a primary VLAN.

Configuring of promiscuous port will be allowed only if the private VLAN is of type primary.

Cannot configure the promiscuous ports as the VLAN is not a primary VLAN.

Default VLAN cannot be a private VLAN.

Cannot associate an already existing VLANs as secondary to the primary VLAN.

NOTE:

IGMP V3 is not supported with PVLAN.

MTM Lookup Mode IP is not supported with PVLAN.
