Reset port counters

When troubleshooting network issues, you can clear all counters and statistics without rebooting the switch using the clear statistics global command or using the menu.

SNMP displays the counter and statistics totals accumulated since the last reboot, and it is not affected by the clear statistics global command or the

clear statistics <PORT-LIST>

command. Clearing statistics initiates an SNMP trap.

IMPORTANT:

Once cleared, statistics cannot be reintroduced.
