Deploying Critical VLAN

When a RADIUS server is configured as an authentication server, the clients are authenticated based on responses from the RADIUS server. The critical authentication feature does not operate unless the RADIUS server does not respond to authentication requests and only on those ports where critical authentication is configured. RADIUS Authentication can be deployed as is or as a module within policy managers such as ClearPass Policy Manager (CPPM).
